Windows 10: Cloud Provider

I want to open a text document for a application but the app says my cloud provider in not running. Please help.

Configure cloud service providers

I purchased a Windows 10 PC for testing. I don't use third party cloud service providers, so I would like to completely remove OneDrive. I have my own personal cloud, so I would like the Operating System to use my local installation of OpenStack.

I tried to remove OneDrive via the control panel, but its not listed. I also tried right clicking and Uninstall, but the option is not available. I found a tip using the PowerShell, but the removal failed.

I also failed to locate information on switching to my cloud service provider. Confer, "windows 10" change cloud service providers site:microsoft.com.

How do I:

• completely remove OneDrive from this Windows 10 machine
  
• configure the operating system to use my OpenStack installation

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

How to add Cloud Storage Provider to Windows 10 Navigation Pane

I hope someone could help me out on a few points.

Use Uuidgen.exe. as instructed.

The uuidgen utility (Uuidgen.exe) is automatically installed when you install the Platform Software Development Kit (SDK).

The curly braces { and } are not part of the CLSID (the CLSID is a 128-bit number, in hex, within a pair of curly braces)

It is the resource ID for an image that is in your DLL.

I don't think so. {0E5AAE11-A475-4c5b-AB00-C66DE400274E} appears to be an existing CLSID that is related to %SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll.

I would use %%PUBLIC%%\MyCloudStorageApp (%PUBLIC% is C:\Users\Public) if you want it to be for all users.

The flags value (in this example 0xF080004D) is obtained by adding together the hex values of the flags you want to use.

You can use the Windows Calculator in

"View" > "Programmer" and enable "Hex" mode to perform the calculations for the flags value.
