Windows 10: Cloud search stays enabled even though I have disabled it.

It shows up as disabled in: Settings, Search options, registry or even group policies but somehow still is working on my system? I've tried every way to disable it and it still shows up.

How to enable Cortana to launch programs and music, instead of Bing Searching everything?

In this case, we suggest that you disable Windows Search from the
Services settings. Please be reminded to backup your files before proceeding to this troubleshooting. To disable
Windows Search, simply follow the steps below:

• Click on the Start button and type Services on the search box.
• Click on Services.
• From the list, double-click Windows Search.
• Select Disabled on the drop-down field on Startup type.

Disable Web Search Results in Windows 10 Start Menu

Disabling web results in the search box depends on the version and build of your Windows 10. We suggest checking the Windows 10 version and build installed on your computer. To check the version and build, follow the steps below:

• On Cortana search, type winver and press
  Enter.
• A pop-up box will appear containing the version and build of your operating system.

Meanwhile, you can try these steps on how to disable web results in the search box:

• Click the search box in the taskbar.
• Select the Notebook icon

• Click Settings from the list.
• In the Settings page, turn off the Cortana can give you suggestions, ideas, reminders, alerts and more option.
• Also, turn off the Search online and include web results option.
