Windows 10: CLR 80004005 appears, NetFxRepairTool didn't help

Hi thereI'm using Windows10.When I try to open certain programs e.g. Citrix Workspace I get the error CLR error: 80004005.The program will now terminateI triedReboot of courseUninstall and reinstall the affected programmsThe very same error occured when starting the setup for one of the affected programs and I couldn't reinstall it.NetFxRepairToolTurn off Windows features for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8, boot, turn them on again, bootI'm at a complete loss on how to solve this problem and thank you in advance to help me solve it.

I was trying to start Discord when I had received this error message:

CLR Error: 80004005. The program will now terminate.

I tried using NetFxRepairTool and then reinstalling .NET Framework 4.7.2 but it says:

.NET Framework 4.7.2 or a later update is already installed on this computer.

NetFxRepairTool created a log and now I do not know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have posted about this a few weeks ago, but whenever I try to install something, I get this error message.



CLR Error: 80004005. The program will now terminate.



I tried using NetFxRepairTool and then reinstalling .NET Framework 4.7.2 but it says:



.NET Framework 4.7.2 or a later update is already installed on this computer.



Again, it made a log, I decided to go to several other support forums, and they are all pointing me back here. I have been running around for a while now and I would just like to get this fixed, please. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

CLR error 80004005

every time I try to install something i'll get CLR Error 80004005. its really frustrating! how do I fix it?
