Windows 10: Clue requested: Why 2 Progress Bars from DISM?

Folks:
In running DISM on my Surface Pro 3 this morning, I noticed two progress bars in response to a /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup /resetbase command. Here's a screenshot:



I checked the dism.log file and didn't see anything weird or unusual therein. Anybody have an explanation for why there are two progress bars, and only one of them runs to completion?
Weird. TIA for any light that might be shed on this oddity.

WP8 YouTube cannot download video for offline play

I cannot download videos from YouTube, the progress bar NEVER moves, and when I delete them and add again it said "Request already submitted", however they are not in the list.

Please help.

Update: It works for LOW quality only, medium the progress bar will NEVER moves while high it will should exceed size limit and wont be added to the queue

The progress bar often stays at 0% for a while (it's requesting the download from often-busy servers) before starting for real. Several hours at worst case.

Maybe you're panicking and giving up after a few minutes?

 

I have not seen this one for some time, try to enable resetbase, which is supposedly disabled by default.

I’ve noticed the same recently when running DISM although in my case not with /resetbase.

 

Are you sure they are two different progress bars? Or did the 'second' start from 9.8% ?

This progress bar is a simple line of text that gets repeatedly rewritten on the same line on the screen. It would just take a glitch that inserts a spurious Line Feed to apparently start a 'second' bar on the next line. I suspect it may be all the same progress bar after all.

 

Do you get it in CMD?

 

Thanks for the suggestion on cmd.exe, Cliff. Just tried it, and yes, it happens there, too. I think Bree may have the right of it, though: there's something going on that's causing the "same" progress bar to double up during the progress output. It jumped out too fast for me to see if it starts at 9.7% but I'm guessing that's what's happening here.

Just happened to me, I guess 2 bars appears, when it does something more.
Before Windows Updates, I had 1 bar, used it several times, after I have got 2.
Running it again afterwards, it found nothing to clean, 1 bar and 20%, as usual.

 

I figured that some routine that is supposed to report the progress on that line, did a CR/LF while it should be a CR only !

 

It's still broken... even more so now than when with Win 8 when it would hang at 20% ... like it loses synchronicity with actual progress.
