Windows 10: Cluster of Red, Green, and Blue Dots on Black Screen – Stuck Pixels?

Hi all,After a recent incident where my laptop GPU overheated and caused a BSOD, I’ve noticed a strange issue:A patch of stuck pixels a mix of red, green, and blue colors appears only when displaying a black or very dark background. The issue wasn't there before the crash.The patch doesn't move, it's always in the same area.It’s not a single dead pixel — it looks like a whole group of RGB-colored noise or stuck subpixels.This only happens on black or darker colors — when displaying other colors or bright backgrounds, the screen looks normal.I’ve already reapplied thermal paste and cleaned th

If a sub-pixel (one of the red, green, or blue ones) is stuck on a certain colour, it's called a stuck pixel. A dead pixel is when all 3 sub-pixels stop working and show up as a black dot.

The best way to fix it is run this video (attached) over the top of where the stuck/dead pixel is while gently massaging the screen. You'll need VLC player to play it or maybe quicktime.

I've got a stuck green pixel, but it oesn't bother me becasue I can only see it if the screen's black and I'm right up close to it.

Stuck pixel or dead pixel?

Stuck pixels are usually red, blue, green or white. Dead pixels would be black.

 

Lumia 525 stuck pixels (display) problem :-/

my experience with wp is totally awesome...my Nokia L525 was working fine except headphone...but recently i had noticed an annoying issue...some little dot color pixels are present on centre right side of my screen...they are clearly visible only on black
background when brightness is high...in white,red,green,blue etc background they are invisible...i think they aren't dead pixels...they are stuck pixels...i don't want to take the phone to NCC as they take a lot of time for repairing....do you know any alternative
solution for fixing it ???
