    CMD command to set Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)


    Hello all,
    in Win10 I have my Ethernet interface which is normally set to "Obtain IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically".
    To connect it to another PC via Ethernet cable to transfer files, I was instructed to use the IP address 192.168.0.2 and subset mask 255.255.255.0.
    It works.
    Then, when transfer has accomplished, I have to open again the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and select "Obtain IP address automatically" to go on Internet after having connected the cable again to the router.
    Well, I would like to create a batch that replicates the above settings.
    Any idea to avoid to re-invent the wheel?

    how to add other DNS to Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).

    hi,

    I followed the steps given

    • I clicked the Networking tab and the followed items to click
      on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4),
      and I clicked on Properties but nothing happened.
    • The Advanced does not appear so I'm not able to add a DSN
    Can you offer further advice ? Thx

    How do you add other DNS when update Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)?

    When you double click on this option in Networking nothing comes and the Properties box doesn't allow you to edit this either. any solution options?

    Thanks to both to attend me, Sr NavyLCDR in connections Ethernet ( wired ) if this the window to put the DNS,The connection of telephonic access, do not give possibility to put the DNS,Only I have a good chance to install the protocol TCP/IPv4,Does he ask me for a disk to install the protocol, where getting the installation from protocol?
