    Cmd.exe expected outputs


    When i start cmd.exe, i get the following

    See the above "Active code page: 1252" which is coming everywhere, including if i want to run a bat file or scripting etc. Where is this configured and how to switch it off?

    You probably have a problem with your Command Prompt. To find out, I suggest you try this:

    • Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Windows\System32. Now double-click cmd.exe and check if the problem persists.
    • Check on a different machine if the problem occurs there.
