  1. CMD.exe not replacing sticky keys nor Utility manager on login screen

Basically I'm logged out of my windows 10 pc. my password doesn't work, I can't reset it. I googled options and found out it's possible to add new users via a cmd promp on login. Here's my steps:

    1) Downloaded windows installation ISO

    2) Used rufus to put it on a USB stick

    3) Launched my PC via the USB stick. I got to the installation screen

    4) Shift + f10 to open up a cmd.exe. Here I ran this

    " copy c:\windows\system32\sethc.exe c:\

    copy /y c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe c:\windows\system32\sethc.exe "

    5) Rebooted PC without the USB stick. I got to the main login screen. Now sticky keys doesn't work nor does the cmd prompt pop up

Why does this sticky keys fix not work for me? I'm almost 100% I followed all the correct steps online

    Hi,

Sticky keys dialog box appears when you have press the Shift key five times continuously. It also lets you use the Shift, Ctrl, ALT, or Windows Logo keys by pressing one key at a time. You can set up Sticky Keys from the Ease of Access Center on the Control
    Panel. Follow the steps below:

    • Press the Shift key five times.
    • Once the dialog box appear, click the Go to the Ease of Access Center to disable keyboard shortcut link.
    • It will open the Set up Sticky Notes window in the Control Panel.
    • Uncheck Turn on Sticky Keys when SHIFT is pressed five times option.
    • You can also set the settings to your desired option.

After doing so, check if the same pop-up will appear while playing the game.

Get back to us if you need further assistance.
