Windows 10: Cmd font is different from cmd run as administrator vs run without administrator

idk why this is but its annoyingwhen you start a cmd as admin you will execute "conhost.exe" / "cmd.exe"when you start a cmd without admin you will execute "windowsTerminal.exe" / "OpenConsole.exe"this leads for some reason to a discrepancy between starting size and font art and size of the window´swich makes things very very annoying if you have mutliple of the instances runningimageleft with admin rightsright without admin rightsyou can clearly see the difference where both windows will stop showing lines and see that this is indeed very very different

follow readme.txt to step 8

instead of right click -> running Install.bat as administrator do the following:

start cmd as Administrator from Start->Run
cd to DifferentSLI folder
run Install.bat from the cmd prompt you started

resume at step 9

 

Not able to run cmd as Administrator

As i have activated hidden administrator by using the cmd "net user administrator /active:yes", but i have not set any password.

Now when i login as guest account am not able to run cmd as administrator as when i try to run it as administrator, its asking to enter administrator pwd and i have not set any.

Hello;

I have Windows 10 Home edition (so no group policy editor)

I first noticed a problem when right-clicking on Computer, and selecting Manage; Nothing would happen.

So I read that I should run CMD as administrator and then run the sfc to check the system files.

Well, I went to Start->Search->CMD and tried to run it as administrator and NOTHING HAPPENS!

Yes, I am logged into an administrator account.

There all all kinds of results when I type the Subject into the internet search but

They all seem to think that I need help on how to run the CMD as administrator.

None have a sollution as to the problem when it does not work.

I suspect that it is something simple, like the UAC that I can only change the level of notification on.

Please, help. I do not want to re-install windows 10, just fix it.

(For clarity, this was a windows 7 system that was upgraded to windows 10 home during the free upgrade period).
