    Hello,All I wanted to do was watch Sky Go in bed on the laptop's WiFi. But suddenly... I now seem to be encountering a common problem Win10, 64bit:- Network icon disappeared from taskbar resulting in no available WiFi selection aside from Flight Mode. Going directly to WiFi via Search and turning it on doesn't make a difference. In one of the Network pages it states Ethernet and WiFi are enabled, although I have tried repairing, connect/disconnect etc. - Impossible to update Windows -- code 0x8007042c.- Selecting Network and Internet Settings page crashes on opening. - Domain/Private/Public

    error code 0x8007042c when running Windows Update

    I am getting an error code 0x8007042c when trying to run Windows Update in Windows 10. Microsoft says the problem is with the Firewall or Defender. Both are fine. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
