Windows 10: code: 0xd00000e5 Something went wrong and your PIN isn't available.

My recent experience with my windows 10 laptop has been frustrating. The Issue came from two perspective.

1. If I close the lid and move it to another place, the screen will not turn on!. I have to (force) restart it several times for it to operate normally.


2. I have been getting "code: 0xd00000e5 Something went wrong and your PIN isn't available" when the computer finally agreed to turn on! I have to restart it again to have my pin function correctly.


I have been looking at different pages, I don't see that particular error code. Please tell me how to fix it.

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

 

Pin Login not available and can't change or remove my pin

Hi Saschavan,

To help you disable your PIN login, kindly follow the steps below:

• Go to this location: Settings/Accounts/Sign-in options
• Check the PIN options and click the I forget my PIN available to click?
  
• Enter your password, it will prompt you to enter a new PIN.
• Click Cancel and your PIN should be disable upon reboot.
