Windows 10: Code 0xd0000225 after update. Not able to get into my computer after update

    Code 0xd0000225 after update. Not able to get into my computer after update


    This morning, trying to log in to my laptop, all my options for entry are not accepted. No fingerprint, no PIN, no password, no security questions… all rejected. This happened after an update. After entering my PIN I get code 0xd0000225 and suggested to restart; not working. Per other Q&As I’ve tried restarting with the shift key held and it doesn’t pull up anything. I’m not super duper tech savvy but I’m kinda tech savvy.The laptop is a year old. Last time I went to he MS campus for help but would love something where I don’t have to drive so far. This is the second time this has happene

    Error Code 0xd0000225

    So I was trying to update my computer (Windows 10 by the way) to the latest build 15063, so that I can mount ISO files (because apparently you can't do so without the latest build). It isn't being rolled out to everyone, you have to download it yourself
    (which is stupid). So it takes a long time to do everything it has to, and it's seems like it's about to finish when suddenly it says "Something went wrong" (No **** Sherlock) "You can contact Microsoft Support for help with this error" (Which I'm doing right
    now) "Here is the error code 0xd0000225." (To which I didn't have a snarky response) So tell me what I can do to fix this.

    • Boot into safe mode;
    • Open Code: %temp%[/quote] on Explorer;
    • Delete everything inside it;
    • Reboot;
    • Try to apply updates again;
    • ...
