Windows 10: Code 43 USB Driver

Well, if there's anyone who speaks Portuguese to help me, I'd be very happy I'm having problems with the USB driver. My notebook ended up breaking the fiber optic and I was using my cell phone as a router through a USB cable and activating USB Tethering to pass internet, but about a month or two ago I updated Windows and suddenly my notebook stopped recognizing my cell phone, and I've already changed cables and cell phones and nothing. Recently, I replaced the HD with a slightly older one to recover some things and my USB started working again, however, when I tried to update it, it gave the s

Code 43 USB device not recognised

Hi Vishnu,

Thank you for posting in Community, we understand your concern and we will try our best to help you resolve the issue.

Error Code 43 is a Device Manager error that means the following:

Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43).

When you get this error with USB devices it’s because one of the drivers controlling the device notified the operating system that the device failed in some manner. This can be because of corruption in one of the loaded drivers and the driver cache just
needs to be flushed. An alternative to resolve this issue is to perform
Power Drain, to do so follow the steps below

Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power cord.

Press and hold the Power button for 30sec.

Plug the charger/power cord and restart system

USB SuperSpeed error code 43

Win 10 ver 1709.

Device Manager always reports the SuperSpeed has a problem.

I have tried uninstalling, updating drivers and a Win 10 online reinstall (repair upgrade?). No change. I installed Win 7 to a spare drive and it finds no USB problems. Also, in Dev Mgr, Win 7 does list a SuperSpeed.

I attached snips of USB Tree and Dev Mgr under Win 10 & Win 7.

I want to make the SuperSpeed error go away.

Advice from Microsoft: Graphics device driver error code 43

Windows stopped your device because it reported problems. To fix it, try the following:

Select the Start button, then in the search box next to Start, type device manager and select Device Manager from the list of results.

Find the problematic device in the list (it will often have a yellow exclamation point icon next to it).

Press and hold (or right-click) the name of the device, and select Properties. In Properties, select the Driver tab, select Roll Back Driver, then follow the steps. If the button is unavailable, that means there's no driver to roll back to.

Select Uninstall device and then select Uninstall.

At the top of the list of devices in Device Manager, press and hold (or right-click) the name of your PC, then select Scan for hardware changes. This reinstalls the device driver.

To see if this fixed the problem, press and hold (or right-click) the name of the device again and select Properties. On the General tab, under Device status, you should see This device is working properly. If you don’t see this message, refer to the documentation that came with the device or contact the manufacturer.
