    Code 45 cd-dvdrw not showing in device manager, but hidden


    Windows version 1909

    my cd & dvdrw aren't showing up in the device manager but they are hidden. all of the update are done. my rollback drivers is greyed out.

    OS build 18363.592

    I have read thru some of the posts and it really isn't helping yet

    DVDRW Missing from device manager and Explorer 1709 16299.309

    since first upgrading from win 7 this has been a problem.I have lost dvd/cd from device manager also explorer no drives were showing there I did a clean install back in August 2017 then all hell has broken loose with my dvdrw and settings system devices
    missing reports when i look in hidden devices I see code 45 device not connected to the computer re connect to fix its a HP Notebook with win 10 on it I just don't see why I am fixing this everyday then as soon as you update or reboot it's gone again doesn't
    work or show as being there.
