Windows 10: Code 48 Intel 4000 Graphics Card Windows 10

Discus and support Code 48 Intel 4000 Graphics Card Windows 10 in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I updated the graphics card and windows and all of a sudden the graphics card stopped working causing some stuff to stop working and code 48 popped up...     Code 48 Intel 4000 Graphics Card Windows 10


    I updated the graphics card and windows and all of a sudden the graphics card stopped working causing some stuff to stop working and code 48 popped up when I checked what the problem was. I have tried updating and stuff. May someone help me?

    driver version10.18.10.4338 This happed after Win 10 v1809 update, Build17763.194. Dell and Intel say it is a MS Windows problem

    Hello Geethu,

    Thank you for you reply.

    I tried step 1 and it scans and detects an error but does not fix it. "Intel HD Graphics 4000 is not working properly".

    As for step 2, I only get a note telling me "Windows 10 drivers may be available through Windows Update".

    Going on your suggestion, I tried the previous 5 or 6 drivers from windows 8.1, 8 and 7 just in case, but I still get the same problem (code 43).

    Further help greatly appreciated.

    Appreciate the reply.

    Yes and Yes. No Rollback for the initial driver version 10.18.10.4338 that was working before v1809 install, as is still the preferred version via Dell downloads & dell SupportAssist.

    Yes, went to Intel and they had a new driver for HD Graphics 4000 drive (generic, and not recommended by Dell for my Inspiron). Did delete/install with the
    latest Intel driver(generic). Same problem (Code 48) and also broke the NIVIDA graphics driver that is co-dependent on the
    HD Graphics 4000 driver. So did a rollback with it, to the
    driver version 10.18.10.4338 .

    Intel has a Driver and Support Assistant.Install it and let it scan your system in ordrer to update the driver.
