    AAE - Videos - How to access

    AAE files are not images (or videos). See
    https://fileinfo.com/extension/aae

    An AAE file contains edits made to an image using the Photos app on an iOS device. It is used to transfer non-destructive edits a user has made to .JPG images in iOS to the macOS system. AAE files can be found accompanying the images for which they
    contain edits.

    Videos taken on an iPhone will likely be .MOV files. Videos purchased from the iTunes Store may be .M4V files

    .aae corrupted pictures

    Actually *.aae files are not the images. They are edits to images. See
    https://fileinfo.com/extension/aae     It's my understanding that *.aae files are just XML, so you should be able to open them using Notepad, but you won't be able to use the information.

    You should have files that have the same names as the *.aae files but with *.jpg extensions. If you don't, it seems as if you saved the wrong thing.

    The AAE file and extension: What is its purpose, how do I open it and can I delete it?

    HEIC file viewing

    I have the HEIC Image extensions and the HEVC video extensions on my Windows 10 PC but the TWINUI application will still not open the HEIC file. Any suggestions?

    I have tried converting it to JPG using the APowersoft application but it downloads the file to a location that does not seem to exist on my PC - "...Users/[user name]\AppData\temp...
