Windows 10: codec / folders

Discus and support codec / folders in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; i have downloaded a few images from the Veterans Admin.     i have downloaded a few images from the Veterans Admin. While i can see the x-rays on my screen, i canot print them.


    Th laptop says... the codec may not be supported.


    What codwc shoud i use, and how do i download (from the store( a program that allows me to print the sceen?

    USB Audio Codec Driver

    After following all these steps, my usb audio device still does not work. In Settings > Connected devices it list USB Audio Codec Driver is unavailable.

    You might be experiencing this issue because of corrupted codec files. To help us identify the cause of this error, we would like to know the following information:

    • Which app are you using to open and play your media files?
    • Have you installed any codec packs on your computer?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you download and install the
    official Codec packs from Microsoft    . These packs can correct problems experienced with previously-downloaded codecs.

    Quick Access not searching Pictures folder


    Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

    • I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.


    • Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.
    That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

    Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.
