  1. Color Blind Filters Experience

I'm not complaining nor is there a bug. I just recently had an experience with the color-blind filters. I have deuteranopia green weak. So, I use the filters, I think theyre great. Recent I was showing a friend in discord some images and it turns out I was seeing the wrong colors. It was this image of mercy. The image on the right is without the filter and the left is when I had the filter on.filters no filters. Now, I first thought ok thats my fault for turning up the saturation and power on the filter. 2. Color filter for color blindness is on, how can I turn it off?

Hello: I found the color filter for color blindness is turned on to "Blue-Yellow (tritanopia)." I am not color blind and I did not turn this on. I have sole access to my pc. This occurred right after the April 2018 update from Microsoft. How can I
turn off this filter? I tried clicking on it thinking it might be a toggle, but nothing happened - the filter remained on. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Pete

  3. Color Filters

    Hello julgardner,

I don't believe so. As far as I am aware using the color filter changes the color palette which then helps people that have color blindness to distinguish between things that differ by color.

So in theory you will see more colors but they will be different colors to what non colorblind people see.

    Kind Regards,

    Color Blind Filters Experience

Colors looking grey in Windows 10

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that the colors look grey on your computer. I would suggest you to check the color filters in Settings and see if that helps. Kindly, refer the steps mentioned below:

    1. Press Windows key + U, to open
      Ease of Access Settings
      .
    2. Now, select Color filters from the left pane.
    3. Under Use color filters, toggle the switch to
off for Turn on color filters.
    4. Clear the check box for Allow the shortcut key to toggle filter on or off.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,
