Windows 10: Color folder option is missing when I right click Feature ID 124980

Feature ID 124980, which enables Business Users to right click on a folder and change color is missing for me. I have Windows11, have spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why not. Any help out there?

Print in color option missing from Word

I would suggest you refer to the below steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

1. Click Print,

2. Select Printer properties,

3. Select the Paper/Quality tab,

4. Click Advanced,

5. Select Print Grayscale Off (This option is totally missing in the drop-down list. It disappeared recently from the menu after we had checked black instead of color.. When we wanted to change back to color the option was gone.)

6. Click Apply then OK.

7. Check to see whether or not the problem has been resolved.

Pinned & Recent Folder Missing From Explorer in Start

I suggest you to follow the steps given below and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

• Open File explorer.
• Click on View and then Options.
• Choose Folder and search options.
• Under General Tab and under Privacy, make sure to place a check mark on Show recently used files and recently used folder in Quick access.

Folder Icon Background Color

I'm Jin, a fellow Windows 10 user and an independent advisor. I understand that you wish to change the background color of the folder icons in Windows 10.

Sadly, the feature or option that you are looking is not available. You can the folder icons but the background is not something that can be modified.

If you want to change the folder icon, right-click on the folder > Properties > Customize > Change Icon...

Since you are very much interested in having this feature, you can send this as a suggestion by using the Feedback Hub app.
