Windows 10: Color Problem on Windows 11

Hello, I've recently have bought a Lenovo LOQ laptop and i was playing some game called Alan Wake 2 and i accidentally have enabled HDR in game even though my laptop screen has no HDR Support at all and the colors started being like this on my integrated graphics, but when i switch to using my discrete graphics card which is Nvidia in this case the screen just turns fine and it loads perfectly okay the laptop colors turn to a really darker tone of colors after plugging an HDMI and having both the external screen and internal screen show up the dark colors only appear on the laptop screen

Desktop selection box color problem.

I am using windows 11 and trying to change the color of the selection box but after a few minutes it changes back to default colors.

I used this how to.

Try the following steps, and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + R keys.
  
• Type in regedit into the text box and press Enter.
  
• Follow the path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors.
  
• On the right pane, look for the value of HotTrackingColor.
  

Select a color and copy your color numbers

RGB Color Codes Chart

It is given in three values representing the ratios of red, green and blue that range from 0 to 255.

• Enter values that mix to the color you want to have.
  
• Repeat the above step for the value of Hilight.
  
• Restart the computer.
  
  I just want to be able keep my custom color for it, if anyone has a idea how?
  

 

Window background color - I don't appear to be able to do this on windows 10 as the change color scheme bit isn't there.

• Right click on “Desktop screen”.
• Then click on “Personalize”.
• Click on “Colors”.

Changing the taskbar color to white in Windows 10

In Windows 10 there is no option for changing the color to white but you can change it to different colors. To change the color of the task bar I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then select personalization.
• Click on color option on the left side.
• You will find an option called “show color on start, taskbar and start icon”.
• You need to on the option and then you can change the color accordingly.
