Windows 10: Color profile keeps resetting after shutdown and flickering and reload to my current one

hello,i used lenovo loq ryzen 7 GPU RTX4060 laptop i have issue on colour setting 1st i get my laptop its display colours look likes yellolish and i calibirated so after it look nice but the proble is when i open my laptop 1st they loaded that yelowlish one and flickering it and loading my correct colour profile how i solve this problem

This also happens with the machine fresh out of the box, or with Windows 'reset pc' back to factory defaults, with just the calibration software installed.

I thought I made it clear it's not hardware 'screen flickering'. The color-profiling assigned is resetting back to 'none' and then gets re-applied, causing a flash of un-calibrated colors (which is quite
pronounced with this screen).

Color-profiles are not working ('not a thing') in safe mode, so there is no way to check this issue under safe mode.

Like I said, the issue is not screen flickering, but the color-profiling resetting. I've looked through the troubleshooting list you linked to, and none are applicable here (and I already said I tried
different drivers including the latest by my vendor and the latest provided by Intel).

It looks like you didn't read my post at all. The problem is triggered by hardware events such as Bluetooth toggling on or off, discovering devices through network or USB, or any random event. It
goes away by killing SystemSettingsBroker.exe and preventing it from starting up again, so the only app that is involved is a core Windows component.

There are numerous other posts on both reddit and here (answers.microsoft.com) with the same issue, all since Windows update 1803 and as of yet no fix.

I have this problem on Windows 1809 Pro, Lenovo T480s laptop with Intel HD 620 graphics (tried with latest drivers offered by Lenovo, AND with latest drivers (17 jan 2019) offered by Intel going against their advise to use OEM drivers).

I don't seem to have this problem on my custom-built desktop, Windows 1809 Pro, Geforce GTX 1060.

The laptop has the issue also on connected external displays, not just the internal panel or something.

'hardware events' seem to reset the color-profile (or reset the gamma ramps in the graphics driver). Within a few seconds, DisplayCAL detects that the profile isn't loaded and re-applies t. This happens _for sure_ with hardware changes like changing resolution,
turning on / off Bluetooth or WiFi, plugging and unplugging _any_ kind of USB device.

It also happens _a lot_ out of the blue (like, 5 times within 30 seconds sometimes, sometimes it seems stable for a few hours). I guess it's detecting new devices on the connected network and that also triggers stuff.

That triggering out of the blue is causing 'color profile flashing' because a profile gets reset and then loaded again, and this can happen sometimes at up to every 5 seconds, making the machine pretty much unusable.

Now, tricks like disabling Microsoft's 'color profile loader' from the Task Scheduler don't do anything.

What does help is killing 'SystemSettingsBroker.exe'. But, that process is quickly restarted by the OS.

So, I kill 'SystemSettingsBroker.exe' from the Task Manager, and then go to c:\windows\system32 and rename the file to something else in Windows Explorer. This prevents it from starting up again, and low and behold the profile now sticks and works fine,
for hours upon hours upon hours.

_But_, not having SystemSettingsBroker.exe kills certain Windows functionality, like turning on / off Bluetooth from the Action Center (basically, all Tiles / buttons in the Action Center (notification area) are not working and grayed out). Clicking the
battery does NOT pop up a status about current charging-status or anything, or the functionality to pick a power profile. And more stuff like this.

Most can still be accessed by finding the function in PC Settings / Control Panel yourself, but it's still a hassle.

So I can try to work on the horrible green-cast panel that my laptop has out of the box, or calibrate it and use it with flickering colors at random times and intervals, or have steady good calibrated colors but loose a lot of Windows functionality / shortcuts...

I actually made Lenovo replace the panel in my laptop in the hope to fix this but it didn't do anything (apparently it's meant to have a green cast or something) but I'm pulling my hair out because of the stupid color-stuff.
