Windows 10: Color profile keeps resetting

I have a custom icc I made with an app called calibrize because I couldn't get the colors to my liking with the other tools. However, it startetd resetting every time the pc is turned on. I have tried the task scheduler fix but it didn't work for me, also I updated the drivers. Any ideas?

You may try the steps listed below and check if it works.

• Search for ‘Task Scheduler’ from the start menu.
  
• Navigate to the following location:
  
  Microsoft\Windows\WindowsColorSystem
  
• Locate a task called ‘Calibration Loader’.
  
• Right click ‘Calibration Loader’ and select ‘Properties’.
  
• Go to the ‘triggers’ tab, disable ‘At Logon’
  and ‘On Connection to user session’ by unchecking ‘Enabled’ box.
  
• Close ‘Task Scheduler’, set color profile and check if the issue persists.

Custom Color Profile lost on startup


Hello All,

I have created a color profile using a colorimeter which I then set as default. However whenever I restart my laptop the profile reverts to the original Windows default. It's strange, because upon startup the screen is using my custom profile but it reverts to the Windows default when startup is complete. I then go into Color Management to reset it and the profile is missing from the "Profiles associated with this device" list. I have to click on the "Add..." button and select it from the "Associate Color Profile" list and then reset it again as default.

I am using a Spyder2Pro to calibrate my monitor.
