Windows 10: color range / color space

Im using a TV as a display.

driver setting can be adjust either 16-235 or 0-255 color range.

but is there a way to get a custom color range in windows? like somewhat in between limited and full range?


reason behind is

while in limited every tiny detail is visible but somewhat washed

while in full range its vibrant but some details are no longer visible as it becomes too dark or too bright

How to change Desktop selection box color

Try the following steps, and check if it helps.

  Press Windows + R keys.
  
• 
  Type in regedit into the text box and press Enter.
  
• 
  Follow the path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors.
  
• 
  On the right pane, look for the value of HotTrackingColor.
  

Select a color and copy your color numbers

It is given in three values representing the ratios of red, green and blue that range from 0 to 255.

  Enter values that mix to the color you want to have.
  
• 
  Repeat the above step for the value of Hilight.
  
• 
  Restart the computer.

Background color:

  Go to
  Settings.
  
• 
  Choose
  Personalization.
  
• 
  On the left-side of the window, select
  Colors.
  
• 
  Then
  Choose a Color.

Fonts color

Are you trying to change the color of the system fonts? Or are you trying to change the color in a particular application?

I understand your query, to change the font color I suggest you to make few changes in the Personalization settings and check if that helps:

To do that,

1. Tap on Windows + I
on the keyboard.

2. Click on the Personalization option.

3. Now click on Colors option.

4. Click on the preferred color from the list of colors.
