Windows 10: Color setting not available in paper quality tab - would like to print in color but not working

Hi All,

The issue is that I am not able to print in color from my laptop.

I am able from my phone or other computer but not this laptop with Windows on it.

Tried everything. Found online that I need to go to settings and to the paper quality tab and choose color or black and white but my PC does not have that setting. See below image. PLEASE HELP! Thank you SO much!

Printer Won't print black, but prints color

1.Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers

2. Right click your printer and click "Set as default printer." When a window pops just click "Ok."

3. Under Devices and Printers, right click your printer and the "Set as default printer" must now be automatically checked.

4. Check the Printing Preferences > Paper/Quality tab again (Devices and Printer > right-click your printer > Printing Preferences > Paper/Quality tab) and the Color option for B/W and Colored printing should now be there.

 

cannot print in color (windows 10)

Cannot print in color in Win10. When printing preference open - there is no option for selecting B&W or color preferences - neither in layout nor on paper/quality, nor under the advance button available for both of them; the same is with the printing shortcut
(and there is no advance button option).

 

Color printing

I would suggest the following steps:

In Word, click on "File" - "Options".

Click on "Display" - Select the box which says "Print background colors and images".

Click Ok to save the settings and then try to print.
