Windows 10: Colorized Bars and other graphic issues within Windows.

Hello all,I've run into a problem with my graphics card after 3 years, it is a GTX 1650 and for the past week I've seen a degrade in performance; the GPU performs much slower than when I first got it, and there are obvious display issues such as colored bands horizontally across the screen, as well as weird patterns displayed all over the monitor.I have tried many things, such as reinstalling the driver, and using another display source as to all have failed.Is there anything that I can do about this?Thank you,Galaxy

Windows Color Management Issue

Hi billin30,

With the issue you're having with your display color, I suggest that you calibrate. There may have been settings that is causing the issue and resetting them may solve this. Follow these steps:

1. Press Windows key on your keyboard, type Calibrate display color.
2. Follow the on screen instructions.

If the issue will not somehow improve, try to check with your monitor's color settings just to be sure.

Also, I'd like to clarify what monitor is having the issue with its display going to the 'other monitor'? I'd also like to ask for help in isolating the issue. Try to use the monitors one-by-one or have them pair up with one another. Like have BenQ paired
with Asus then have Alienware paired with Asus etc.

Update me if there were improvements.

 

Active window taskbar icon color stand out windows 10

I would suggest you to follow these steps and check if it helps:

• Right click on the desktop, click on personalize.
• Click on Windows Color, and click on advance appearance settings.
• Under Windows color and appearance, click on the drop down arrow under item.
• You can select Active title bar, Active Windows border etc, and change the size and color you want.
• If you want different color, then click on color and click on others so that you can create your own color.
• Once you finish making the changes click on apply and then ok.

I suggest you to post your valuable suggestions in Windows feedback app. So, that developers will try to implement it in future Windows 10 Builds to enhance user experience.

Cortana's Font Color (Blue) is impossible to read when she responds to me

I understand that you are trying to change the font color for Cortana on your PC, I suggest you to follow the step mentioned below:

Steps:

1. Type ‘Color settings’ in the Windows search bar.
   
2. Tap on the ‘Color’ option.
   
3. Uncheck ‘Automatically pick an accent color from my background’.
   
4. You can select the preferred color, under
   Windows colors.
   
5. You can click on Cortana and you will be able to notice the color that was selected.
