Windows 10: colors less colorful on new windows 10 installation than on old one

recently got a new ssd and decided not to connect it to my old hdd, but install a new windows 10 pro on it. the colors however are way less colorful and look more grey, if I switch back to the hdd which has windows 10 home everything is okay. It's definitely not the monitor. Interestingly if I take a screenshot and watch it from another device, it looks okay. It seems to be a setting in windows, but I can't find it. I was searching with a friend of mine for more than 5 hours and another 2 alone. Updated all drivers, checked all color settings and gamma settings which help a little but don'

Changing the taskbar color to white in Windows 10

In Windows 10 there is no option for changing the color to white but you can change it to different colors. To change the color of the task bar I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then select personalization.
• Click on color option on the left side.
• You will find an option called “show color on start, taskbar and start icon”.
• You need to on the option and then you can change the color accordingly.

Window background color - I don't appear to be able to do this on windows 10 as the change color scheme bit isn't there.

Personalize colors and themes on Windows 10

• Click on Windows logo.
• Click on Settings.
• Click on Personalization.
• Select Colors.
• Make sure that the Automatically pick an accent color from my background is turned off.
• Select the color that you like from the grid of colors.
