Windows 10: Colors looking weird when opening laptop

I am using a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 with Windows 11. Starting last month, there have been three times when the colors on the screen turn weird right after opening my laptop. I'm not fully sure if a color inversion is the right term, but all the colors become darker. The screen doesn't turn black, I am able to see everything, everything still works, and the change in colors only lasts for a second or two before reverting. The color change looks close to the grayscale inverted color filter but not entirely and I have that turned off anyway. I've done multiple hardware scans and nothing has been dete

I understand that the colors look grey on your computer. I would suggest you to check the color filters in Settings and see if that helps. Kindly, refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + U, to open
   Ease of Access Settings.
   
2. Now, select Color filters from the left pane.
   
3. Under Use color filters, toggle the switch to
   off for Turn on color filters.
   
4. Clear the check box for Allow the shortcut key to toggle filter on or off.

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

 

Screen weird different color strap issue

Since the weird color strap also occurs in other apps, it seems that your graphics card driver is causing the issue. For us to better assist you with this, we'd like to know the following:

• Have you install any Windows updates prior to this issue (e.g. Windows 10 Fall Creators Update)?
• What is the make and model of your graphics card?

In the meantime, we suggest updating the graphics card driver, and see if the issue will still occur.
