    Why has MS taken away the ability for users to change the default workspace colour from white? A White background uses the most energy to display AND its the worst colour for your eyes. Imagine the extra energy being used all around the world by users being forced to use a white screen - when actually a grey or duller colour is perfectly good. Plus its better for your eyes.Can you tell me your rationale for this?

    Suggest to check your High Contrast setting. See if it is turned On.
    Settings > Personalisation > right side, High Contrast Settings > under Use High Contrast, is it turned on ?

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
