    COM Surrogate / DLL Host Service user impersonating in my desktop and hiding it with an...


    DLL Host Service keeps popping up randomly and interrupting what I'm doing like typing or holding down a key because it's alt tabbing randomly at certain times I don't know what its doing to my computer or anything like that but I'm getting annoyed by it, I've tried ending the task in task manager several times but obviously that wouldn't work that easily and I tried locating the application Galileo.exe but it doesn't show me.Apologies for screenshot links I cant seem to upload them.https://snipboard.io/AxUG1o.jpghttps://snipboard.io/P3Neb1.jpghttps://snipboard.io/wS3WMY.jpgI have used Microso

    I have neither COM Surrogate in TASK MGR nor DLL files...


    I have the same thing,COM surrogate and dll not listed,weird that some people have it and others don't. I turned off 'Always show icons never thumbnails' as someone said this may help but it didn't.

    I have neither COM Surrogate in TASK MGR nor DLL files...


    I opened my TASK MGR and there is no COM Surrogate files. I went to DETAILS tab and there are no DLL files.

    Any suggestions?

    I cannot remove personal details on pics.

    Win 10, PC desktop.

    For us to know if it's a faulty or outdated driver, can you send us a screenshot of associated file. Here are the steps:

    • Type in Task Manager in the search bar
    • Right-click Service Host: Windows Push Notifications User Service_3c1f5
    • Click Properties and go to the General tab
    • Send us a screenshot of the Properties
