    COM Surrogate of C:\Windows\System32\dllhost.exe on Windows 10


    My Windows 10 Computer is sometimes freezed.

    So I checked "Review your computer's reliability and problem history" and I found there are a lot of COM Surrogate of C:\Windows\System32\dllhost.exe.


    I tried to stop DEP(Data Execution Prevention) as following site.

    However, my computer is x64-based processor and I cannot stop DEP for C:\Windows\System32\dllhost.exe

    Does x64-based Windows 10 use not C:\Windows\System32\dllhost.exe but C:\Windows\SysWOW64\dllhost.exe?

    If so, why C:\Windows\System32\dllhost.exe is used and causes error?

    If not so, why I cannot stop DEP for C:\Windows\System32\dllhost.exe?


    If there is any information or workaround, please let me know.
