Windows 10: Combination shift + s open program in fullscreen

When I press shift + s program opens in full-screen. Before, I had an issue with CTRL + s combination, when I pressed CTRL + s a program also opened in full-screen. But this issue disappeared after an update. How can I fix this issue?

Windows Forces Program To Open In A Small Window

If I click on the window mode icon it stays in the window mode but the icon changes to the fullscreen option, as if the computer already thought it was in fullscreen before.

Then if I click it again it will go to fullscreen mode, which is allright but the goal is to save me going through this multiple click process whenever I use the program, which is everyday.

Thank you for the suggestion, once I got it in fullscreen mode I tried to click the X while holding shift. This shut the program down but upon startup the same problem occurred again.

• Do the other combination with shift key are working?
• Did you made any changes to the computer prior to this issue?

I suggest you to update your keyboard drivers and check if it helps.

Method 1: Update keyboard drivers.

• Press Windows key + X key and click on
  Device manager.
• Click on Keyboards.
• Right-click on the Keyboards and click on
  Update driver software.

Keyboard: some Shift- combinations do not work from time to time

When using SHIFT to type !, @, #, $, ( or ) they sometimes do not work. A while later, they may work for a short time. Sometimes the problem does not show up for days. Steps taken so far:

• The device manager shows no issues.
  
• Test programs found nothing or suggest it may be a hardware error.
  
• When using on-screen keyboards, there is no issue.
  
• The keyboard drivers have been de-installed and automatically re-installed
  
• The latest drivers are installed
  
• Have removed and re-selected the language keyboards
