    Combine Taskbar Buttons Option Missing in Windows 11


    In Windows 10 ... We had the option NOT to combine taskbar buttons together.This was a good option as I could use the task bar to identify which window went to which monitor I am using two monitors to do work. In fact, I sold away my Macbook and reverted to Windows, just because of this - it's really a time saver to "zoom in" to the window I need and not sieve through a bunch of combined icons and wait for it to "preview" on the monitorIn Windows 11 ... This option is NO LONGER available. Why remove such a useful function?I read, with great interest that this function would be brought back..

    Where did the "Combine taskbar buttons" option go in Windows 11?

    By default, Windows 11 combines the taskbar buttons. Windows 10 has a "Combine taskbar buttons" setting that I could set to "Never", resulting in separately labeled taskbar buttons for each open window. How do I accomplish this in Windows 11.
