Windows 10: comfused

im new at this.i have a Lenovo ideapad s145 any way I want to plug my guitar in to it .to record it tells me I need asio4all drivers befor I do the recording program.i Microsoft page it says to down load it from where there little blue print on right side that says windo 10 drivers and up dates is that it or what .im lost

No need to wait a day or two - it makes no difference!

It appears that I will have to power down and reboot every time I use the comfuser if I want to avoid large electricity bills.

It is really extraordinary that something as simple as making a comfuser go to sleep should be impossible......

 

Audio CD's not playing

I have 10 Pro 64Bit, but neither WMP or Groove are on my comfuser. I went into the 'Turn Windows features on or off' section & checked Media Features (as seen below) & rebooted; but WMP is still not on my comfuser & I can't find Groove on the list at all.
I've also checked the Registry & .cda files are still associated & set to open w/iTunes, which they do, but songs just don't play.

By using VLC's long way, I was able to convert a CD's .cda files into .mp3 files. This is tedious since I have to go track by track, but as least I did find a way. Though, that still doesn't solve my original problem.

Whichever is set, when I leave the comfuser more often than not it's running again when I come back later.
