Windows 10: Command prompt keeps popping up randomly, any help appreciated.

Hi, so I bought and upgraded to windows 10 today. All day long, at random intervals, I have a CMD window opening up and closing itself almost instantly with about 6 lines of text.
Unfortunately it happens so fast that I can't catch a glimpse of what it's really doing.
Are there any methods of disabling CMD from being launched(i doubt it but hey) or is there any way to figure out which process is causing this? any log file I can check?
It's incredibly frustrating because it minimizes whatever I'm doing.

Try with the methods below and check if it helps.

Method 1:I suggest you to run
System File Checker, which will check your system for missing, corrupt or damaged files and attempt to fix them.

Method 2:

Also, I would suggest you to perform a Clean Boot
and check.

Putting your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot.

Command Prompt pop up randomly

Basically last night before i went bed, I accidentally switched my computer on again. I saw it was disconnected from my wifi so i reconnected and then the command prompt popped up and then disappeared just as fast. Like a flicker, couldn't read what was
on it. Is this normal?

Last night I had however been informed by my antivirus that abode shockwave player was out of date so I updated it. That was the only change I made to the system.

I'm really worried and would like to know what might have caused it. Happened once before on windows 8 but then it was due to an update then.

 

There was a case of this happening in old insider builds I remember.

I see from your specs you are on build 10240 - perhaps you should go to windows update and upgrade to the latest November build 10586 -perhaps it will go away..

As for checking it you could go to Task Scheduler > Action and turn on All task history and then have a look in Event viewer next time it happens...

Run to monitor all running processes and look in the Actions Log to determine what process invoked the command prompt.

This is the event that caused the CMD pop-up I think. Can't be sure but it's the first thing I noticed.
