    Command Prompt opens suddenly and closed and a fishy website opens called pop blocker


    I've been having this issue since months and I cannot find a solution to it... it suddenly opens while doing some work. i fear it might be a virus... i did the all assets.. malware scan, tried finding sussy apps on task bar and nothing worked apparently

    command prompt will not open in safe mode with command prompt

    I am repairing a laptop for a friend and I need to access windows in safe mode and the owner has forgotten the password to the main user. I tried logging on with the administrator profile in safe mode but it is not showing up so I was going to use command prompt in safe mode with command prompt but command prompt will not open when I boot that option. Does anyone have any hints for me to figure this out?

    Would I just follow the same steps within safe mode after hooking up to the other system?

    Hi,

    Pop-up blocker helps user to prevent pop-ups from displaying in a user's Web browser.

    Follow these steps to block pop-ups in Internet Explorer:

    • Open Internet Explorer.
    • Open the gear icon at the upper right of the Internet Explorer.
    • Select Internet Options.
    • Under Privacy tab, put a check mark on Turn on Pop-up Blocker.
    • Click OK.
    Follow these steps to block pop-ups in Microsoft Edge:

    • Open Microsoft Edge.
    • Open More (icon with three dots) and select Settings.
    • Click View advanced settings.
    • Turn Block pop-ups to On.
