Commands in Speech recognition are treated as text.

I have started using windows speech recognition. The text seems to work amazingly well, but commands are printed as text as well accurately!. Is there any way to tell the program to treat a spoken phrase as a command? such holding down the <ALT> key. Otherwise how can I force the program to treat the words as a command? Many thanks

    :)

WINDOWS 10 SPEECH RECOGNITION , ----PROBLEMS WITH CAPITALISING LETTERS OR WORDS

    Hi Neil,

The command to capitalize the first letter of a word is: Caps word. If voice recognition is having a hard time understanding your command, we suggest that you
train your PC. You can do that by following these steps:

    • Press the Start button.

    • Type and select Windows Speech Recognition.

    • Follow the instructions.

For more commands that you can use, you can check here:

    .

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards.

    Win 10 Speech Recognition

I was going to try the settings one more time as you suggested. However I ran into deadlock even at the first step:

    “…Select the
Speech Recognition > Set up Speech Recognition
    page…”

No such choice as “Set up Speech Recognition”. How can I send you the screen shot?
