Windows 10: Comments in news articles show previous profile name and not updated name.

Hi,I made a comment in a News article but it is showing my full first and last name. I would like to just show my initials. In order to do this I deleted my comment and updated my name in my profile, then made the comment again. Unfortunately, the new comment is still showing my previous full name?I thought this might have something to do with Microsoft's servers taking time to update a database but have waited two days and the update still isn't appearing?Thanks :-

Changing my microsoft name in "Edit profile" Doesn't change my name when commenting on msn news articles

With regards to the name displayed when commenting on the MSN news articles. It might take up to 24 hours for the changes to completely apply on all your profile.

I would suggest to check via Microsoft News to see if the name displayed is now your preferred name. If it still shows the old name on this page, try changing it again via the same page.

Then click the "Edit profile" from there and it will direct you to the Microsoft profile page to change your name. After 24 hours, try to comment again to see if the new name will now be displayed.

Despite me editing the profile, commenting still shows up as my old name.

 

Strange names showing in Network Profiles on AVG Firewall

Some strange network names have been showing in my AVG Network Profiles list, that are not listed on the "known network" list on my windows 10 PC:

DIRECT-MHDESKTOP-DVFUTVPmsGH

DIRECT-XgDESKTOP-DVFUTVPmsQJ

DIRECT-LDDESKTOP-DVFUTVPCRTH

(my PC name is DVFUTVP)

Some posts online seem to suggest they are something to do with "Direct Desktop Connection" although I have never used this to connect to anything, only to wifi networks (all others on the list recognised) or bluetooth devices

Does anybody know why these could be showing up / what they are?
