Windows 10: Communications tab set to do nothing and my volume is still lowering when i access...

I have spent the better part of 2 hours trying to find a fix for this, short of factory resetting my computer i feel like i have tried everything.

I turned off the communications tab and set it to do nothing when i enter a call (which it thinks my games are calls..) i have turned it back on and off and restarted my computer 6 times trying different combinations but it still keeps my volume lowered by 80%

I have made sure that no apps can take control of my audio devices (both mic and headset) and i only have one device available for output which i set as my default.

I also attempted to update the drivers which did not help as well. Im at a loss and i just dont know what to do. The only thing i have been able to do is turn the volume near max but once the game is over and it no longer has access to my mic the game sound is nearly deafening.

I am using a sony wh-ch700n bluetooth headset and am on the latest version of windows. Any extra ideas would be very much appreciated.

Communication settings say "Do Nothing", but the stupid feature still lowers the volume

I don't have this problem with Skype because I don't use it, but even though OBS has got absolutely nothing to do with communication, it still lowers the volume when I open it. I have set the Communication Settings to Do Nothing, DO NOTHING, but it still
only knows how to lower the volume by 80%. I'd like to actually hear things when I record for god sake. Awful feature to begin with.

 

Phone volume and music player volume are somehow interlinked, if i lower the volume of music player it will result in lowering the ringing volume.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
