Windows 10: CompactOS status thing stuck while doing it

Discus and support CompactOS status thing stuck while doing it in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I was going to use CompactOS to have more room and non 30gb Windows folder but CompactOS got stuck at the "/" on the status bar and there is not much...     CompactOS status thing stuck while doing it


    I was going to use CompactOS to have more room and non 30gb Windows folder but CompactOS got stuck at the "/" on the status bar and there is not much documentation for that because its hidden by the "MAKE WINDOWS MORE COMPACT" articles so yeah idk if that matters or not

    CompactOS command vs NTFS compression - on SSD

    Hello all.

    I have a question.

    How does CompactOS compare to NTFS compression in terms of ratio and speed (performance when using the computer)? do they deliver similar results?

    Also, if i enable CompactOS compression, will this put any strain in terms of reads and writes on my SSD?

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
