Windows 10: Compatibility between Microsoft Word 2007 and 365

I just recently started using Microsoft Word 365 ( 2 days ago) . Before then I was using Microsoft 2007. When I sent my DA my draft dissertation with my 2007 Microsoft Word, her feedback was more about formatting issues that were not there in my original document. For example, some paragraphs had different fonts, some images went missing, some pages went blank just to name a few, yet the original document that I had sent her did not have any of this. Well, the first thing that came to my mind was that maybe it was a formatting glitch as the Microsoft Word that I was using (2007) was not compatible with the one she is using. That's when I downloaded the Microsoft 365 tools from the student portal of UoL.

Well, am worried of the same formatting glitches recurring though this time around I used the latest version of Microsoft Word, that is 365. How do I avoid a repeat as I know formatting issues will greatly affect my dissertation results?

Also, after the submission of my draft dissertation onto Turnitin, I got errors reading on all my tables and figures yet that is not what is there in my original document. How do I mend this? See attached

Is it just one file, or all your word files?

With the exception of Outlook, I have yet to find a reason to stop using Office 2000, 2003, and 2007. They open all the latest files just fine, and they work just fine.

 

Deleted Word 365 now I cannot load my word Home and Student 2007 disk


Just got back my son's two month since purchase of ACER Laptop after needing a new hard drive.
As my handicapped son will get confused from the any Word Program even if a trial version or just an advertisng shell. I deleted the MS Word Program 365 on the list of programs When I try to install MS Word Home and Student 2007 - The Drive goes through the motions of starting to load the disk then stops, there is no response.
Any Idears
