Windows 10: CompatTelRunner.exe

Discus and support CompatTelRunner.exe in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; I noticed CompatTelRunner.exe munching CPU and IOs this morning. Does anyone know what it is/does?     I noticed CompatTelRunner.exe munching CPU and IOs this morning. Does anyone know what it is/does? It lives in the System32 directory, so presumably is part of Windows 10?

    compattelrunner.exe

    I have disabled compattelrunner.exe beacuse of too much cpu and ram usage, I would know if it (the disabling) can cause problem to win 10.

    Shouldn't you find out what something is before you disable it?

    How do you know this executable is using too much cpu? What, in your judgement, is the correct amount of CPU for this executable to use?
