Windows 10: Completely reset Lenovo computer without recovery key

I bought an already used Lenovo computer from the internet for university.But when I started the pc, I saw that theres already an account on it.So I wanted to reset the pc but when I pressed "reset the pc" they asked me for an recovery key.I dont have that key because as I already said, the pc was originally not mine.How can I bypass this to reset the pc or is there any other way to reset the pc.The os is Windows and the pc is from Lenovo. I think its the ThinkCentre M80t.Thanks

Are you referring to the Recovery key for BitLocker or the key that needed for resetting Windows Phone?



If you are referring to the Reset Key that is needed for Windows Recovery, then I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps:

• Go to account.microsoft.com/devices.
• Next to the phone you no longer own, click I don't own this phone anymore.
• Select “I’m ready to remove my phone “check box, note the
  recovery key, and then click Remove. The recovery key will display on the page and will also be emailed to you.
• When you're certain that you have your recovery key saved, select “I’ve kept a copy of the recovery key “ check box, and then click Okay.
• Forward the recovery key email to your phone recipient.

Your phone is no longer listed on account.microsoft.com/devices, and you can remove Reset Protection during phone setup using recovery key option.

The eight-digit key is the key ID that tells you what recovery key to use (imaged edited for security reasons...

Here you see the Key ID code and next to it is the corresponding recovery key. So if the codes E80024E, you'll need to find the corresponding key which here would be 16965-175505.... That's the 48-digit key you need to input. Hope that helps *Wink

  Remove. The recovery key will display on the page and will also be emailed to you.

If there was no account that was associated with the device, make sure to check your
