Windows 10: Computer Background Changes to other PC's Background

Ok, hear me out. This is a bit of an odd one. It's happened on both my desktop and laptop now several times.

My background will occasionally change to what my partner has on his background and override my settings. It's getting annoying and google has not provided answers.

He is definitely not changing my background as I just bought this PC for work and he doesn't know my work password.

I feel a bit crazy about this because it doesn't make any logical sense. Can anyone shed some light on this?

changing the background images

In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things.

• Have you made any changes on the computer prior to the issue?
• Are you referring to desktop background image or lock screen image?

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the background picture and check if it helps.

• In the search type as ‘Settings’ and click on it.
• Select ‘Personalization’, under ‘Background’ option select as ‘Picture’.
• Under ‘Choose your picture’ select any picture accordingly or you can browse the picture from your computer.

Background cannot be changed

Hi,

To change the background on your Windows 10 Mobile, please follow the steps below:

• Open Settings, and tap on Personalization.
• Tap on Start.
• Tap on the drop-down list under Choose a background.
• Select your preferred background and click apply.

Wallpaper (background) color

Close all open windows, restart the computer once and then login to the computer to check if that helps.
