Windows 10: Computer Beeps every ten minutes after experiencing a power outage

About three days ago we experienced a power outage and after the power returned one of our computers beeps every ten minutes. The beeping is driving everyone in the office crazy and I can't figure out how to stop it. There is no help from Microsoft because they no longer offer call-in tech support, the only option they offer is online forums which have thus far been useless. I am at my wits end and SERIOUSLY considering deleting Microsoft from all of our office's computers. If anybody can give me any help with this, I would be very appreciative.

Computer Causing Power Outage?

The bathroom shouldn't be on the same circuit as your bedroom and office. It should using GFCI/RCD on a different breaker all together. If you are not I suggest you get an electrician out there to fix that ASAP. If its true the entire second floor is on one circuit I suggest you move or have it rewired. That's not only poor building but dangerous.

But I don't expect you to listen to me.

If you are going to be living where you are right now I suggest you have a dedicated line ran to your computers outlet.

 

Computer Causing Power Outage?

Hey all,

I just recently experienced two power outages in about an hour(it is nice out). I am using a newly built computer and running some high demanding tasks with it. I'm wondering if my computer is causing the whole houses power to go out, or if that is even possible.

Not sure if this is related, but whenever my computers ethernet is plugged in, our cable tv(ATT) basically comes to a standstill. Then when unplugged it works fine again. I'm not sure how that is possible.

• Which browser are you using to check the passwords and favorites section? Provide the list of browsers where you encountered the concern.
• Have you tried using another account to verify if the programs are still missing on your program list?

There is a possibility that the drive index has been corrupted. We highly suggest that you check your hard drive and scan for errors by following these steps:

• Open This PC on File Explorer and locate your hard drive.
• Right-click and choose Properties.
• Under Tools tab, click on Check Now button.

After scanning the hard drive, hidden files and folders, as well as lost data can be restored.
