Windows 10: Computer began to crash at random with this screen

It does it randomly shows the screen for a moment and restarts. Start up and loading games is slow most times takes ages for the games to launch after clicking them.I've gotten a new higher power source, scanned the memory, says its all clear.Scanned for viruses and malware also comes back clean.Motherboard is updated to latest BIOS and all drives are up to date.I likewise did a windows registry restore, disk cleanup.My GPU isn't being over worked.Is it a processor motherboard issue? It only just started to happen a week or so ago build is only 3 years old.Event viewer says Log name: System

Random Crash/Freeze on Build 10130


Hello everyone.

I have been running the Windows 10 preview for the last few months and other than a driver issue here or there, did not experience any real problems. However, with the last update to build 10130, I have been experiencing a random crash/freeze that manifests itself in one of two ways:

1. If I step away from the computer and come back before the monitor is set to go to sleep, I will come back to a frozen cursor, unable to do anything.
2. If I step away from the computer and come back after the monitor has gone to sleep, I will come back to a black screen, unable to do anything.

In both cases, I have to hold the power button in to shut down the computer for a restart.

Any direction or help would be greatly appreciated.

Random crashes on new computer

Hi, thanks for the reply.

Followed all steps and haven't received a crash yet but as I said before, its random.

NZXT CAM O.C. was never used but I use it for lighting and fan regulation.
I have OCCT installed but have never even launched it.
I've overclocked slightly on AORUS Engine but reset to default / silent mode for testing here.
Ryzen 5 is also slightly overclocked (one click UEFI optimal setting @ 3800)

Furmark overclock seemed quite stable at 68C which is fairly normal at that GPU usage.
