Once again that crash was caused by Driver Verifier being ON and it detected special pool memory corruption caused by the display driver atikmpag.sys. Let's see how the system behaves once you have turned Driver Verifier off.

Use the tutorial below to configure your mini-dump settings:

I always lock my office computer when I step away for a bit whether its 5 min or for lunch etc and notice that sometimes when I come back I am greeted with a restarted computer and a new dump file. This has been ongoing for a while, but I can't recreate it (by simply locking the computer and waiting a bit) so I am guessing its one particular task that is causing the issue. I have attached the dump file and welcome any assistance.

    :)

  3. Fast Shutdown

Ever since I updated my computers to the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, my computers are not shutting down in fast shutdown mode. Can I turn the feature back on or is this a bug until Microsoft can update the OS with a fix?

All of my computers have the UEFI BIOS. So, they should shut down like they always have.

What’s happening is when I go to log off at night and shut down, the computer has an extra screen that says “Shutting Down” and it will eventually go off. When I go to start it up, it says “Please Wait”, and then it will eventually return to the Lock
screen. It acts as if the profile is loading slower in the Fall Creators Update than the previous update. Can someone help me with this issue? It used to not have an extra screen when shutting down or starting up. It would go directly to the lock screen or
    would directly shut down.

Stuck in blue welcome screen after windows 10 upgrade

I have the same issue. After installing Windows 10, the system is locked up at the first blue screen. The two links do not work, and clicking on the screen, or pressing "enter", only leads for the computer to reboot and head back to the blue screen. Also,
when locked up in the blue screen, my system power button is disabled. I have to pull the plug to turn off the computer power.

Microsoft service is absolutely no help. Sad

There was no mini-dump file created. Can you provide a link to the memory.dmp file (post it to OneDrive or Dropbox)?

Code: 2018-04-11T11:37:46.815 The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b (0x00000000c0000096, 0xfffff8000ed879cb, 0xffffb408ae1efa50, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000.[/quote]

The latest crash was different - this time it was 0x154 UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION.

I would be concerned that the hard disk might be giving problems. I wonder if it is being triggered by some sort of disk cleanup or optimisation task starting in the background?

Drives look OK. We might need to wait for a few more BSOD crashes and hope you can capture the mini-dumps.

Turned off verifier but didnt restart right away. Got another BSOD before restarting after I locked the computer and walked away for minute. Came back and computer wouldn't wake up with keyboard or mouse. Attached the updated file. For some reason my minidumps are overwriting the older minidumps and I can't figure out why.
