    Apologies for bumping in, but I would like to have this done *Smile
    Unless you see an option to reset all settings to the optimal default settings you need to pull the CMOS battery.

    After seeing the manual of Dell I'm wondering if it is possible to change a setting in the BIOS at all given that I do not find anything about 'optimal default settings'.

    If there is no option for loading the default settings then I assume you cannot edit a setting in the BIOS at which case you wouldn't have to worry about voltages and speed *Smile

    I never really played around with the BIOS, but could this be it?
