    Computer BSOD Randomly


    Hello,I keep getting BSODs typically IRQL_LESS_OR_EQUAL or KERNAL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE. Haven't installed any new hardware outside of a network card, but this was already acting up prior. Tried to get dumpfiles but none are in the normal location, even with the setting enabled.

    BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE randomly after cold boot/sleep

    For the past month I have been getting random BSOD's all with driver power state failure. They happen randomly, usually within the first 5-10 minutes of cold booting or waking my computer. Steps I have taken to attempt to fix the problem:
    1. Reinstalled GPU drivers/ tried old drivers
    2. Fresh installed Windows 1803, still happened, then fresh installed 1709
    3. Disabled Fast Boot
    None of these things fixed the issue, any help would be much appreciated at pinpointing the issue. Thanks

    • Which is the last Windows update build you've applied to the computer?
    • Are there any third party applications that are currently installed?
    Furthermore, we suggest that you do a BIOS update to your computer. Here are the steps:

    • Check the motherboard manufacturer's website to find the specific model of your motherboard.
    • Go to the computer manufacturer's website.
    • Look for the computer model that you're using.
    • You should find any available BIOS update.
