  1. Computer BSODs before login screen, BSODs on automatic repair, and can't access advanced...

After installing the most recent windows update, I started my computer which crashed with a BSOD after a few minutes with the error KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. After troubleshooting for hours, I am unable to access BIOS or advanced startup options and any time the computer goes into automatic repair, it crashes. The startup page instructs me to press DEL for BIOS and F12 for the boot menu, but neither work and neither do other common keys. I have installation media on a USB, but I am not able to boot from the USB to repair windows as I can't access the BIOS or options to do so. I've tried restarting it countless times, unplugging it from the wall and retrying, unplugging all extraneous devices to check for a hardware issue, and even letting it sit for a few hours on the crash screen. The BSOD that I get from every crash is stuck at 100% collection complete, but will never restart automatically. All advice that I could find pointed to repairing or reinstalling windows from a USB drive as a final answer, but without the ability to boot from my drive I can't do that. I'm at a loss for what to do and really need some help.

    :)

  2. Stuck in a loop at automatic repair and later showing bsod error

Today when i switched on my pc and started using it for a few minutes, there came a bsod error screen with stop code as “system thread exeption not handled” and after completion of 100% it tried to restart several times.

Then after few times of unsuccessful restarts there came a message as “performing automatic repair”. This too went on for a few no. of times with each time showing the same bsod error as mentioned above.

Then after bsod screen it tries to restart and automatically repair and then jumps to bsod screen again. And the loop continues.

I’m not able to start windows using safe mode too.

Please anyone kindly help with my situation.

    Thanks in advance.

Cannot go into recovery mode in several ways

    Problem:

Cannot login into normal mode or safe mode or access anything other than Boot settings.

    • Do not get usual login screen.
    • Seeing Automatic repair and then BSOD with code 0xc000014c
    • That loop continues.
    Troubleshooting Steps taken:

    • Tried 3 times reset when in "Preparing Automatic Repair" to boot into recovery mode - Failed.
    • Created bootable WIndows 10 USB flash drive to go into repair mode - Getting another BSOD with code "Driver pnp watchdog"
    • Some times, after "Preparing automatic repair" screen, i get "Your pc needs to be repaired" recovery screen where it shows F8 to go into Startup settings. When i press F8, i get the same screen again in a loop.
