Windows 10: Computer continually shuts itself off

Hi there, my PC that I had built last year has started shutting itself off at random and not rebooting after. I am fairly confident that it isn't a hardware issue after some investigation, so I'm wondering what I can do next. I see error logs in my event viewer but I honestly have no idea how to interpret them. I get error messages like this


"The cpuz136 service failed to start due to the following error:
This driver has been blocked from loading"


and this:


"The description for Event ID 875 from source Application Popup cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.



If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.



The following information was included with the event:



cpuz136_x64.sys



The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table"


any help would be vastly appreciated!!

Computer Shuts Down

If your computer shuts down unexpectedly when the battery is at 50%, it is possible that the battery is defective or that the drivers of the battery is incompatible with Windows 10 version 1709. For us to isolate the issue about shutting down when the battery
is at 50%, kindly respond to the questions below:

• Is your computer new? Or, is it an old computer upgraded to Windows 10?
• What is the make and model of your computer?
• Have you checked if the driver for your battery is updated? If not, kindly do so.
• What troubleshooting steps have you done? This is for us to know and to avoid any duplication of efforts on your end.

To assist you better, I would like to ask what are the methods that you have tried to solve the issue.

The issue might occur if the computer is not shut down properly. so, I suggest you to perform a power drain by follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Shut down the Computer.
• Remove all power source (including battery if it is a laptop).
• Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
• Connect the power source and start the computer.
• After the computer boots to the desktop, suggest you to install all the pending updates.
